PHOTOS: Many seeing double rainbows after recent rain in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After another round of rain through early Sunday evening, many across eastern Nebraska were seeing double.

Double rainbows, that is!

Many vibrant colors were seen around Lincoln, with the faint reflection of a second rainbow behind and above the brighter one.

These sights also came not after just one round of rain, but two when talking about Sunday as a whole.

The first round of rain came with a lot of cloud-to-ground (CG) lightning, that you may have heard around 3 a.m. Sunday.

LATEST FORECAST: Rain still possible Sunday evening; Fall-like on Monday

From that round, the airport saw over an 1″ of rain in about an hour.

The rest of the day, less than 0.10″ was recorded.
