PHOTOS: National Weather Service confirms tornado in central Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The National Weather Service on Wednesday confirmed that a tornado touched down in central Nebraska.
The weather service said the twister traveled 7.5 miles in Loup County on Tuesday night.
It stayed in pasture and rangeland, so the damage was limited to some broken tree limbs.
With a peak wind speed of 80 mph, the tornado was rated an EF0.
