Pickup crashes into retaining wall at central Lincoln church
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A pickup truck ran into a retaining wall in central Lincoln on Wednesday night.
It happened about 7:20 p.m. at 27th and R streets, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Photos uploaded to the NOW Local News App show a pickup straddling a landscaping wall at Sower Church.
The airbags deployed, and there was significant damage to the front of the truck.
In one photo, the wall appears to be damaged.
Police said the driver, a 56-year-old woman, had a medical episode before the crash.
She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
