Pickup ends up in front yard in Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A pickup truck went into the front yard of a Lincoln home on Tuesday.

The crash happened about 4:15 p.m. on 48th Street just north of Normal Boulevard.

The pickup hit a curb and rolled, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene said one of the pickup’s tires came off.

It also appeared that the pickup hit a fence.

The driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Northbound 48th Street was blocked off for a time during rush hour.

LPD said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
