Pickup flips on its top in single-vehicle crash near Air Park neighborhood
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A pickup truck ended up on its top Friday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash near the Air Park neighborhood.
Just after 4:45 p.m., Malcolm first responders were sent to Purple heart Highway and State Spur 79 for a rescue alarm.
Sgt. Brad Sturdy with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the pickup was hauling a “properly secured” skid steer on a trailer when it flipped.
Despite the serious crash, the lone occupant of the pickup was uninjured and he was not transported to the hospital, according to Sturdy.
During the crash, Sturdy said the pickup knocked over a light pole on the side of the highway.
Crews are currently working to clear debris from the shoulder of the highway, according to LSO.
The cause of the crash is yet to be determined.
