Pilot killed in northeast Nebraska plane crash is identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol released the identity of a pilot killed Monday in a northeast Nebraska plane crash.
A plane, flown by 73-year-old Joseph Rudloff of Norfolk, crashed around 9:30 a.m. in Knox County, 4 miles southwest of Crofton.
Rudloff, the plane’s lone occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another plane crashed shortly after near Wayne.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigating agency on that crash, the patrol said. Details will be released at a later date.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating both crashes.
