Pleasant Fall Weekend Continues Sunday
Many of us saw a beautiful fall afternoon on Saturday, with highs across the state in the 50s and 60s. 65 degrees in Lincoln puts us 3 degrees short of a record high for the day (68° – 1974).
We are looking at a pleasant evening ahead as well. Temperatures still in the middle 50s for the start of any Husker football watch parties!
Despite a warmer day today, temperatures tonight will be close to freezing in southeast Nebraska.
Mostly clear skies and lows in the lower 30s in Lincoln. A light wind out of the west-northwest will brings chill to the air tonight.
Temperatures on Sunday will be similar to Saturday, with many of us seeing the lower 60s.
Another beautiful late fall day for Lincoln on Sunday with highs in the lower 60s. Cloud cover will increase as we head closer to dinner.
The latest runs of Stormcast keep us clear of any rainfall until late Sunday and early Monday morning. Light rain showers will be possible to start the work week, particularly for eastern Nebraska.
Showers will be possible, particularly before noon on Monday, before mostly sunny skies for the rest of the upcoming week. Temperatures are expected to drop as we get close to Thanksgiving, with highs in the lower 40s for the holiday. Models are looking at a chance for rain and possibly snow for next weekend. It is a little far out to call anything certain, but it will be important to monitor for anyone with travel plans next weekend.
