Pleasant Monday Ahead – Light Wintry Mix Tuesday

Unadilla Billy and Punxsutawney Phil have popped out of hibernation to tell us what’s ahead. PHIL said 6 more winter weeks! Our groundhog Unadilla Billy said early spring! Increasing clouds will occur this afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler farther east, with warmer air out west.

Groundhog Day 2

High temperatures Monday will reach the 40s and 50s across Nebraska. Fairly pleasant weather compared to what we’ve been experiencing.

State Forecast Highs Tomorrow

Monday night, some light flurries/wintry mix is possible across northeast Nebraska. This light precipitation will linger through Tuesday morning. Accumulations will likely stay near a trace for many. Tuesday afternoon and evening brings light wintry mix out west with some precipitation making it farther west. By Wednesday morning, most of the precipitation should end with warmer air moving in Thursday!

Rain/drizzle chances through Wednesday morning will be spotty. The best chance for a tenth will be further out west.

A cool & cloudy next few days. Some light wintry mix begins overnight Monday and picks up Tuesday afternoon and evening. Slick spots could develop through Wednesday morning. Thursday starts our beautiful warm up!! Temperatures reaching the 50s and 60s under sunny skies. Next week will stay above average with a few passing weather systems bringing some rain/snow chances.
