Pleasant Weekend Ahead
Forecast:
Temperatures in the Capital City will remain mild for the start of our weekend. The forecast calls for plenty of time outdoors on Saturday afternoon, where temperatures will remain in the lower 80s.
Lincoln will reach 83 degrees for a high temperature Saturday with a cool breeze out of the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
A great weekend ahead for the middle of July with temperatures warming up to the lower 90s on Sunday. A few sprinkles will be possible, but most of us should see mostly sunny skies. Winds will shift to be out of the south, bringing warmer air to the region for the start of next week.
We will see a break from the humidity this weekend as well, with dew points in the upper 50s and lower 60s!
Spotty rain chances continue for the weekend before better chances of precipitation make it into the forecast starting on Tuesday.
Temperatures climb for the start of the work week before chances for showers and thunderstorms cool us off from the middle to the end of next week. Friday looks to be our coolest day coming up, with high temperatures just above 80 degrees before highs return to near-average next Saturday.
