Police: Grand Island man threatens employees at business, assaults an officer
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Grand Island man was arrested Wednesday after police say he threatened multiple people and assaulted a police officer.
Just after 6 a.m., officers with the Grand Island Police Department were sent to Chief Industries Fabrication near Adams Street and Phoenix Avenue.
When officers arrived, they talked with multiple employees who said a male entered the building and threatened to end their lives.
Levi Mueller was later found and approached by officers.
According to police, Mueller refused to obey commands from the officers and resisted arrest.
Police said Mueller later assaulted a police officer and tried to assault several others.
Mueller was arrested on suspicion of two counts of terroristic threats, assault on an officer, attempted assault on an officer, two counts of attempted assault on an officer with bodily fluid, resisting arrest and obstruction.
Mueller was booked into the Hall County Jail.
