LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 27-year-old man was jailed Tuesday in connection with a break-in last week at a Lincoln elementary school.
Police identified the man accused of coming into McPhee Elementary School with a knife as Tshering Tobgyal of Lincoln.
He was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony after undergoing a mental health evaluation.

On Wednesday, Tobgyal first tried to break a window at the school, police said.
When that didn’t work, he came through the front door but found that the interior door of the vestibule was locked.
He then threw a bike against the interior door until it broke, according to Lincoln Public Schools.
Police then arrived and took Tobgyal into custody within 10 feet of the front door, the district said.
Tobygal is also facing two misdemeanors: criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
