Police identify 32-year-old man killed in south Lincoln crash
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department has identified the man killed in a crash on Nebraska Parkway on Monday.
The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of 20th Street and Nebraska Parkway.
A sedan, driven by 32-year-old Ryley Costello, was turning east onto Nebraska Parkway when it was hit by a westbound pickup truck, police said.
Costello was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup was also taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The crash report from the Lincoln Police Department says Costello failed to yield the right of way.
Police said neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected to be factors in the crash.
