Police identify man killed in collapse at Lincoln home
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police have identified the man who was killed after a tree fell onto the chimney, which collapsed into the home near 27th Street and Sheridan Boulevard.
Police say that the branch and chimney hit 59-year-old Kevin Clements, who had been inside the sunroom at the time.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue Assistant Chief Michael Smith said the limb falling was “an act of nature.”
