Police identify woman critically injured by tree limb

Police identified the Lincoln woman injured by a fallen tree limb as 69-year-old Katherine Koci.
Police said she and a neighbor, 63-year-old Timothy Houlihan, were removing fallen branches from a vehicle near 45th and M streets Sunday when a second tree limb fell on top of them, pinning them both under the tree.
She was in life-threatening condition when taken to the hospital. She is now listed in critical, but stable condition, Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands said.
Her injuries include broken legs, broken ribs and significant blood loss. Houlihan suffered a broken leg.
