Police investigating burglary at southeast Lincoln auto shop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln auto shop had its door shattered and its register emptied in a burglary Monday, police say.

The owner of Lincoln Auto Repair, which is near 48th and Calvert Streets, reported the break-in around 7 a.m. Monday.

Police said someone shattered the front door with a rock and took an undisclosed amount of cash from a register.

The business had an estimated $500 in damage, according to police.
