Police investigating homicide in South Omaha neighborhood

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An investigation is underway into a deadly Thursday night shooting in a South Omaha neighborhood.

The Omaha Police Department said officers responded just after 8 p.m. to an area near 28th and Drexel streets on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity is unknown.
