Police investigating north Lincoln assault, suspect still at-large

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating an assault in north Lincoln.

Just before 11 p.m. Saturday, officers were sent to an area near 14th and Judson streets.

The victim, a 21-year-old male, said he was walking in the area when he was struck from behind by an unknown male.

According to LPD, the victim tried to defend himself with a pocket knife, but the suspect took it from him.

The suspect then used the knife to assault the victim, LPD said.

Officials said the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect has yet to be identified, and the investigation is still ongoing.
