Police investigating overnight vandalisms at Lincoln Taco Bell, Burger King

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two Lincoln fast-food restaurants were vandalized overnight Tuesday, police say.

Around 2:40 a.m., officers were sent to Taco Bell near 73rd Street and Pine Lake Road on an alarm.

Officers found a shattered drive-thru window, but nothing had been stolen, according to police.

The restaurant had about $1,000 in damage, police said.

Later that morning, an employee at Burger King near 40th Street and Old Cheney Road found the drive-thru window shattered.

A drop box was also pried open, and an unknown amount of money was taken, police said.

Burger King had around $1,300 in damage, according to police.
