Police investigating theft of collectible coins, silver bar from Lincoln jewelry store
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for a duo who burglarized a Lincoln jewelry store on Monday.
Around 2:20 a.m., officers were sent to Randolph Jewelry & Loan near 27th Street and Capitol Parkway after an alarm went off.
Security video showed two people — dressed in dark clothing — using large rocks to break into the store, police said.
The duo damaged display cases before stealing several collectible coins and a silver bar, worth around $1,350, according to police.
A store employee told Channel 8 that the damage is “well over $800.”
