One killed in two-vehicle crash in south Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was killed Monday afternoon in a south Lincoln crash.
The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of 20th Street and Nebraska Parkway.
The Lincoln Police Department said a westbound pickup truck hit a sedan that was turning onto Nebraska Parkway.
Both drivers were taken to a hospital, according to police. The driver of the sedan later died from their injuries.
The driver of the pickup is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.

During the investigation, eastbound Nebraska Parkway was closed from 14th Street. The westbound lanes were shut down starting at 27th Street.
All lanes were reopened shortly before 6 p.m.
