Police looking for ATV riders who tore up landscaping at UNL’s East Campus

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are on the lookout for a pair of ATV riders who tore up landscaping at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus last year.

On Nov. 25, UNL Police were sent to 33rd Street and Huntington Avenue on a report of ATVs doing “spinning cookies” on school property.

Police said the ATVs caused “quite a bit of damage” to the turf they were driving on.

Police are also searching for two women who caused a disturbance last year at U-Stop near 21st and K streets.

On Oct. 24, two women entered the store and began speaking “in a sexually offensive manner” to the victim, according to police.

Investigators think the women were intoxicated at the time.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
