Police looking for pair of thieves who shoplifted from two Lincoln Walmarts
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is looking for a pair of shoplifters who snagged items from two Walmarts last year.
On Nov. 24, a thief tried stealing some hair products from Walmart near 84th Street and Nebraska Parkway.
He was confronted in the entryway and handed over the stolen goods. Police said he drove off in a blue Ford Fusion before officers arrived.
On Dec. 6, a man shoplifted over $260 worth of clothes from Walmart near North 84th and Adams streets.
Police said he left in a Nissan sedan with license plates similar to “WHITE PEARL.”
Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
“Our Crime Stopper program currently has a 51% clearance rate, which means half of the cases we are sharing publicly usually get cleared up with help from the public, so we also just want to thank everyone that follows along and helps us out,” police said in a press release.
