LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was arrested in Grand Island early Sunday morning on his fourth DUI charge in 15 years.

Roberto Moreno was charged with driving with a revoked license, fourth-offense DUI, possession of cocaine, an improper turn and having an open container in the car.

Just before 12:45 a.m., Moreno was pulled over in the Thunder Road Sports Bar parking lot near State Fair Boulevard and Locust Street after he made an improper turn.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, Moreno had an open alcoholic beverage in the center console.

Police said Moreno had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. He also smelled like alcohol, according to GIPD.

A brief background check showed that Moreno had a suspended license due to three DUI convictions in the last 15 years.

After officers searched Moreno, they found a rolled-up dollar bill in his wallet with cocaine inside, police said.

His passenger ran away during the traffic stop, according to GIPD.

He was cited on a misdemeanor and released.
