Police: Norfolk woman caught hiding meth in her underwear after traffic stop

Shooting arrest

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Norfolk woman was arrested Thursday night with methamphetamine in her underwear, police say.

Just before 11:30 p.m., a Norfolk Police officer pulled over a black 1998 Chevrolet Blazer near 13th Street and Omaha Avenue for a burnt-out head light.

Police said the driver, 35-year-old Tiffany O’Meara, had a suspended driver’s license due to insurance cancellation.

According to the police department, O’Meara was arrested and taken to the Norfolk City Jail.

During a search, a female staff member found a clear plastic baggie with a white crystal substance in the waistband of O’Meara’s underwear.

The substance tested positive for methamphetamine, according to authorities.

O’Meara was arrested for driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance.

She was housed in the city jail before being moved to the Madison County Jail.
