Police respond to two explosions at garage in Panama

Police responded to two explosions at a garage in Panama on Sunday around 7:30 p.m. It all happened at 209 West 3rd Street.

“No one injured, we had quick response and knocked down the fire in about 4 minutes,” Fire Chief for Firth Rural Fire, Doug Doeschot said.

Officials say the first explosion created a lot of smoke but then flames started after the second one. The cause of the explosions are under investigation.

Doeschot estimates the damage to be around $10,000.
