Police searching for man wanted in theft at adult store in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is looking for a man who snuck off with products from an adult store last month.

The theft happened at Adam and Eve near 43rd and O streets on Aug. 22.

A man grabbed a few “adult items” and walked out of the store without paying for them, police said.

Surveillance video captured him leaving a dark-colored sedan.  He had a tattoo on his left calf, according to police.

Police are also searching for a dark blue Ford Ranger that was involved in a hit-and-run with a light pole near Hazelwood and Sycamore drives.

The truck also took out a stop sign and should “have some decent damage,” according to police.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
