Police searching for shooter after man is wounded in Kearney

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Kearney Police are investigating after a man who had been shot showed up at the hospital.
The Kearney Police Department says officers were called to the area near 28th Street and Avenue M on a report of a shooting Sunday night.
As police worked on the scene, a 37-year-old man from Kearney arrived at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
No one has been arrested, and police think there may have been multiple witnesses.
