LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are on the lookout for a woman who vandalized a Family Dollar store in north Lincoln earlier this month.

Around 2:30 p.m. on April 6, a woman came into the store near 11th Street and Cornhusker Highway and asked an employee for help.

After the employee was unable to find the requested items, the woman ran to the front of the store and “wreaked havoc,” police said.

The woman yelled while throwing shopping baskets at other customers and employees, according to LPD.

She also opened a bag of powdered detergent behind the counter and threw it “everywhere,” police said.

The woman, who possibly goes by the nickname “Tootsie,” left with a male in a silver Jeep Cherokee.

Police are also keeping an eye out for two people riding a dirt bike and an ATV in the Haymarket on April 3.

An officer tried pulling over the riders, but they took off.

Police noted the driver of the ATV had a small child on their lap.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
