Police seek duo who stole printer, packages from Lincoln apartment’s clubhouse

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for two people who broke into a south Lincoln apartment’s clubhouse last month.
Around 4:30 a.m. on March 21, a man entered the clubhouse at an apartment building near 14th Street and Old Cheney Road.
Police said he was seen taking packages from the mail room.
Eight days later, the same man returned and brought a masked friend with him.
One of the men slammed the office door open, according to police.
They stole a printer, a camera, an envelope containing rent money and more packages from the mail room.
Police are also seeking the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash near North 65th and Holdrege streets on April 13.
A Chevy Silverado hit the passenger side of a vehicle while trying to make a turn in the area, police said.
The driver of the pickup took off without exchanging information with the other driver.
Investigators noted the truck was missing the tailgate handle and had an aftermarket exhaust pipe.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
