Police identify the man they are looking for in Thursday night’s double shooting.

28 year old Leshawn Rogers is wanted for first degree assault. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

It all started in a home just west of 14th and Old Cheney.

"Police quickly got to the house; they looked concerned so we could kind of tell that something was going on," Nate Whisenhunt, neighbor, said.

Lincoln Police were called to the home, on Limestone Rd., just after 5 o’clock. They were responding to reports of multiple gun shots.

Following an argument, two people were injured; one, 26-year-old Alexander White, is still in critical condition.

"This was a argument that was self contained in the home, he was mad at one specific individual, this was not random,” Sgt. Randy Clark, Lincoln Police, said.

25-year-old Reginald McGraw was shot once and went for help. He flagged down a state trooper near Highway 77 and Van Dorn exit. He was released from the hospital Friday afternoon and is expected to be okay.
Police are not releasing names, but say both are in their 20’s.

In addition to Rogers, police did arrest 24 year old Steffani Weirauch for accessory to a felony. She lives in the house.

"Just disbelief, like I said my family has been here for over 12 years now and this is a very very quiet neighborhood, things like this just doesn’t happen.” Kenneth Jones, Neighbor said.

Neighbors in the area tell me they are most concerned about the children that live in the neighborhood.

"There are a lot of kids around here that play and run up and down the street that we all look after."
