LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Carol Baskin’s big cat sanctuary that was featured in Netflix’s hit show Tiger King is closing.

The land is being sold while its 35 cats are relocating to Arkansas.

Baskin says that cost is a factor in the decision to move.

The new facility is larger, and it will be less expensive to keep the animals there.

Baskin also says proceeds made from the sale will be used to fund projects aimed at saving big cats all around the world.
