Portion of major Lincoln street to close starting Monday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Friday announced the closure of a major Lincoln street.
Starting Monday, 40th Street between A and E streets will close for a Lincoln on the Move street improvement project.
This portion of 40th Street is set to reopen in early November, according to LTU.
The sidewalk along 40th Street will also be closed during the project. Homes and businesses in the area will still be accessible.
Lincoln on the Move is a quarter-cent sales tax street investment effort focused on enhancing Lincoln’s roads.
