Portion of popular Lincoln street set to temporarily close Wednesday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department announced the temporary closure of a popular Lincoln street.
From 8:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, eastbound Holdrege Street between 34th Street and Idylwild Drive will be closed.
LTU did not say why it’s shutting down that section of road.
The recommended detour is North 33rd Street to Vine Street.
StarTran routes 24-Holdrege, 25-Vine and 42-Bethany will be detoured during this work, according to LTU.
