Portion of South 40th to close Monday morning
If you take South 40th Street to work you might have to find an alternate route.
Starting Monday, September 24, South 40th between Normal Boulevard and Van Dorn Street, will be closed for sewer repairs.
The street is expected to reopen Monday, October 1.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes, including Normal Boulevard, South 48th Street or Van Dorn Street.
