Portion of Van Dorn street closed today

Due to utility work, a portion of Van Dorn street is going to closed off today

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)-Van Dorn street between south 24th street and Cedar avenue will be closed today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.

The sidewalk on the north side in this area will also be closed. StarTran route 56-Sheridan will be detoured in this area during the work.

This project is scheduled to be completed by July 16. Drivers are being encouraged to find an alternate route.
