Portions of three Lincoln streets to close in coming days

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Monday announced portions of three streets to close starting on Tuesday.
A southbound lane on Ninth Street between Van Dorn and 14th streets will be closed starting Tuesday for pavement repair.
The lane will temporarily reopen at noon on Friday through Sunday. The project will be done by Sept. 27.
Eastbound A Street between 40th Street and Sunburst Lane will be closed daily from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting Wednesday for utility work.
The project will be completed by Friday, and local access to homes and businesses will be maintained, officials said.
Northwest 12th Street between West Upland Avenue and West Commerce Way will be closed starting Wednesday for railroad track removal.
The project will be completed by the end of October, and local access to homes and business will be maintained, officials said.
