President Biden addresses ongoing crisis with Russia and Ukraine

President Joe Biden updates Americans as chatter surrounding war brews on the Russian-Ukraine boarder.

WASHINGTON (KLKN) — “I don’t believe you want a bloody destructive war against Ukraine…” President Joe Biden said as he addressed the nation amid the Russia-Ukraine tensions.

Russia has what is said to be 150,000 troops circling the Ukrainian border in Belarus, and an invasion remains “distinctly possible,” Biden said.

Amid the rising tensions and fear of invasion, Biden is urging a diplomatic resolution.

Russia has announced some troops have returned to base after completing drills, which Biden has not verified.

“The United States is prepared no matter what happens. … We are ready to respond decisively to Russian attack on Ukraine.”
