President Trump addresses nation following U.S. strikes in Iran
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — President Donald Trump addressed the nation Saturday night following U.S. strikes in Iran.
According to the President, the U.S. military dropped bombs on three Iranian nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.

During the address, President Trump thanked the U.S. soldiers that carried out the attack.
“Hopefully we will no longer need their [the U.S. military] services at this capacity. I hope that so,” said President Trump.
He also Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been “completely and totally obliterated.”
In a social media post, President Trump said “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE.”
Towards the end of the address, President Trump offered a message to Iran.
“This can not continue,” said the President. “There will either be peace, or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than what we have witnessed over the last eight days.”
