Rain possible Monday morning; More 90s ahead
A mixture of sun and clouds is expected through the first half of the day. There will also be a chance for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms in southeast Nebraska Monday. The best chance for rain during the morning will be along the Platte River. Showers will be possible further south through early afternoon.
Skies will begin to brighten after 2 p.m. Monday. This will cause the temperature to quickly climb. High temperatures should be in the upper 80°s to near 90°.
It will be a perfect night to open your windows and turn off the air conditioning tonight. Dew points are projected to drop to the lower 50°s. Combined with clear skies and a relatively light wind, temperatures will drop to the lower to middle 50°s Tuesday morning.
