Rainy start to the week
Monday continues the much needed rain. Temperatures will trend cooler into the weekend.
On and off widespread rain is likely on Monday. Some areas in the panhandle could see a mixture of snow and rain. The clouds will slowly clear up and move east into Iowa Monday night.
Rain will be more prominent for the eastern half of the state. Rainfall totals will range from .10″-1″ in eastern and central Nebraska, with a trace to a quarter of an inch possible out west.
The chance for precipitation will be highest in the early morning and afternoon. The rain comes to an end in the evening.
High temperatures will be slightly below normal, with low to upper 40s expected.
We trend cooler heading into the weekend. Monday and Friday will bring us chances for precipitation.
