Driver cited in single-vehicle rollover crash in Lincoln
UPDATE, 10:15 a.m. — Lincoln Police believe the vehicle found on its roof near Capitol Parkway and J Street rolled multiple times.
They say a 19-year-old was the only person inside when the 2005 Toyota Corolla flipped twice, landing in the northbound lanes of traffic just after midnight.
The teen was cited on suspicion of negligent driving and released.
UPDATE, 9:55 a.m. — Negligent driving is to blame for Monday’s rollover crash near Capitol Parkway and J Street, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
They say the 19-year-old driver wasn’t injured after they lost control of the vehicle as the road curved.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in this.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A vehicle landed on its roof in Lincoln early Monday morning.
This happened near Capitol Parkway and J Street around 12:15 a.m.
Video captured by Channel 8 shows the vehicle completely blocking a lane.
Our crew also saw at least three people who were talking with Lincoln Fire & Rescue.
Right now it’s not clear what caused this crash or if anyone was injured.
Since the start of June, we’ve reported on at least six rollovers and have been alerted to several others.
