UPDATE: Rashaun Jones, boyfriend of shooting victim, arrested again

UPDATE:
Davonnis Wilkinson, who was critically injured in a shooting early Monday remains in critical condition.
Channel 8 Eyewitness News talked to two of Wilkinson’s cousins, who said Davonnis is still clinging to life.
"She is on breather right now just because of the surgery she just had," Darayon Pittman said. "She is still fighting and breathing…breathing pretty hard for herself. So she’s moving her arm and her leg, she’s opened her eye since the surgery."
Davonnis was shot several times in her home late Sunday night near 3rd and Fairfield streets.
The father of her children, Rashaun Jones, has now been accused of terroristic threats.
When police arrived, they arrested Jones for domestic assault, but not for the shooting.
They said the terroristic charge comes from an argument the two had about a month ago.
"Witnesses reported observing an argument between Rashaun Jones and Davonnis Wilkinson," Ofc. Angela Sands said. "Jones accused Davonnis of cheating and threatened her with a firearm. Witnesses reported that he displayed the handgun and pointed it at her while yelling."
Police are still investigating Jones’ connection to the shooting.
"I think the police are doing what they need to do, but they’re not telling anyone anything to jeopardize their investigation," said Davonnis’ cousin Kameron Neeman. "It seems like they’re trying to pin every charge they can on him at the moment."
Jones and Davonnis have five children together, three of them were home when Wilkinson was shot.
A Go Fund Me has been set up for the Wilkinson family to help with medical expenses and care for her five children. If you’d like to donate, head to www.gofundme.com/blessings-for-davonnis.
