Recall Alert: Advent Calendars, Descenders And Snowmobiles

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- If you shop at ALDI, they just recalled its ‘bee happy 12 days of craft advent calendars.’

Surface paint on the brown bell found in “day 10” of the advent calendar contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban. Excessive levels of lead can be toxic or cause other health problems to young children if the paint is ingested.

If you have the advent calendar, contact ALDI for a full refund.

PETZL just recalled its descender canyoneering devices. The user’s rope can get caught in the blocking slot and stop or suspend the climber. If the user is under a waterfall or pool, they could drown.

If you have this product, stop using it and contact PETZL for a full refund.

BRP is recalling its snowmobiles. The company says fuel can leak from the fuel tank vent onto hot components when the snowmobiles are on a tilt or flipped over. This could lead to a fire hazard.

If you have this snowmobile, contact a Ski-Doo dealer for a free repair. They plan on changing the routing and the exit location of the fuel tank vent. A protective plate will also be installed.
