Sakar international is recalling over 12,000 of its Tony Hawk silver metallic multi-purpose helmets. These helmets are exclusively sold at Walmart. The recalled helmets do not comply with the positional stability and retention system requirements of the US CPSC Federal Safety Standard for bicycle helmets.

The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash and this poses the risk of a head injury. If you have the recalled product, contact Sakar for instructions on receiving a refund from Walmart. Do not return the recalled helmets to Walmart.

Westfield Outdoor is recalling over 5,000 of its tents, and they are exclusively sold at Cabela’s and Brass Pro Shops.

The tent’s stove jack ring can deteriorate when exposed to high temperatures from contact with a stove pipe and create smoke inside the tent. This poses a risk of injury from smoke inhalation.

If you have the recalled tent, contact Westfield Outdoor for a free replacement stove jack ring. The company is also contacting all known purchasers directly.
