Recall Alert: children’s books, mattresses and cranksets
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Make Believe Ideas is recalling over 260,000 of its Seven Rainbow Road Board books. The plastic binding rings can detach from the books, posing a choking hazard to young children.
If you have the recalled product, contact Make Believe Ideas to receive a refund in the form of a gift card by registering on the company’s website.
If you shop at Costco, FXI is recalling over 48,000 of its Novaform ComfortGrande and DreamAway mattresses. The mattresses could have been exposed to water during the manufacturing process, allowing mold to develop. The company says this poses a health risk to individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.
If you have the recalled product, contact FXI to receive a full refund or a replacement mattress. Costco is contacting all known purchasers directly.
Shimano is recalling over 680,000 of its Cranksets for bicycles. The recalled bonded crank parts can separate and break, posing a crash hazard to consumers.
If you have the recalled product, contact an authorized Shimano dealer to schedule a free crank set inspection. The company says you will be provided with a free replacement.
