Recall Alert: hammock stands, toy boxes and Family Dollar products
Family Dollar is recalling more than 400 products from many of its stores, due to storage at improper temperatures.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- If you shop at Lowe’s, the Hammock Source is recalling over 32,000 of its ‘Key West Knock Down Hammock Stands.’ The company says the weld attaching the stand to the base can break, posing a fall hazard.
If you have this recalled product, stop using it and contact the Hammock Source for instructions on receiving a full refund. The firm is contacting all known purchasers.
Monti Kids is recalling over 1,500 of its toy boxes with bins. The company says the small dowel can become exposed and detach from the toy box, posing a choking hazard to young children.
If you have the recalled product, stop using it and contact Monti Kids for instructions to receive a $35 refund. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.
Family Dollar is recalling more than 400 products from many of its stores, due to storage at improper temperatures. The recall covers a wide range of items including pain relievers, toothpaste, soap and eye drops.
The products include brand names like Colgate, Dove, Old Spice and Tylenol. The FDA says the discount retailer mistakenly shipped the impacted products to many of its U.S. stores throughout May and into early June.
Costumers can return the impacted products, without a receipt, to stores where they were bought from.
