Recall Alert: kids’ allergy medication, utility vehicles and black lights

Intimidator is recalling over 16,000 of its Intimidator and Mahindra utility vehicles.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Intimidator is recalling over 16,000 of its Intimidator and Mahindra utility vehicles. The company says the throttle cable can freeze at low ambient temperatures, resulting in a stuck throttle which can cause the brakes to fail to stop the vehicle; this poses a crash hazard.

Also, on certain model year 2022 Intimidator GC1K vehicles, the onboard software does not prevent consumers from exceeding 15 miles per hour when the seat belt is disengaged; this poses a crash hazard.

If you have these recalled vehicles, contact an Intimidator or Mahindra authorized dealer to schedule a free repair and to receive a software update and fix for the speed limiter.

Spirit Halloween is recalling over 12,000 of its black light fixtures. The company says the bulb in the fixture can pop, flash and overheat; this poses fire and burn hazards.

If you have these recalled black light fixtures, contact Spirit Halloween for a full refund. Also, send a photo of the date code to the firm and then you will get a full refund and instructions on how to destroy the product.

Check your kids’ allergy medication, because Buzzagogo, Inc. just issued a recall of its Allergy Bee Gone for kids nasal swab remedy. The company says its due to a potential microbial contamination.

In immunocompromised patients, the use of the affected product could potentially result in severe or life threatening adverse events. The product can be identified by locating the lot number and expiration date on the bottom of the product carton.

Buzzagogo Inc. is notifying its distributors and customers by email and is arranging for return or replacement of all recalled products.
