Recall Alert: lawn and garden engines, pressure cookers and activity sets

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Best Buy is recalling over 930,000 of its Insignia pressure cookers. The pressure cooker has incorrect volume markings on the inner pot. This can cause consumers to overfill the pot and hot liquids to be ejected when the pressure cooker is vented using the quick release method or opened while its contents are pressurized. The company says this poses a burn hazard.

If you have the recalled product, stop using it and contact Best Buy for a free replacement of the inner pot and floating locking valve for signaling pressure.

If you shop at Walmart, Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling over 115,000 of its Costco Jump, Spin & Play activity centers. The activity centers’ straps can detach or break while a child is in the activity center, posing fall and injury hazards.

If you have the recalled product, contact Dorel for a replacement. You will be asked to cut through the straps of the activity center and sent it to the company.

Kawasaki Motors USA is recalling over 950 of its engines used in lawn and garden equipment. The fuel tube could have been damaged due to improper workmanship while removing the fuel tube for repair, which could cause a fuel leak. The company says this poses fire and burn hazards.

If you have the recalled product, stop using it and contact Kawasaki Motors for a free repair.
