LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Kearney Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding two motorcyclists.

On Friday, an officer tried to stop two black motorcycles without license plates near 31st Street and Second Avenue for reckless driving.

The riders failed to stop and accelerated rapidly, both reaching speeds over 100 mph, according to the police department.

Officials said the first rider was wearing a black shirt, black pants, black shoes and a black motorcycle helmet.

The second rider was wearing a tan shirt with dark pants, black shoes and a black motorcycle helmet.

Anyone with information related to the identities of the motorcyclists is asked to call the Kearney Police Department at 308-237-2104.
