Red Cross delivers over 98,000 meals to Iowans hit by derecho

Thursday marks one month since Iowa was hit by a derecho, leaving many residents with property damage and without power. The American Red Cross responded immediately and continues to work with local officials and community partners to address the needs of those affected. So far, nearly 300 volunteers assisted in helping Iowans recover after this natural disaster.
As of today, the Red Cross has delivered more than 18,500 relief supplies and distributed over 98,000 meals.
